Year 8 Class League Finals
Throughout this term, our Year 8 boys have battled it out in the annual Year 8 Class League. This year’s competition saw over 80 boys take part as players and managers, all vying for bragging rights and the coveted Class League trophy.
The final between 8C and 8F was an intense showdown! Strong defensive displays from Peter McWilliams and Cillian McCann kept 8F’s danger men, Harri Niblock and Jack McErlean, at bay. Meanwhile, Oisin McNicholl linked defence and attack brilliantly, finding Michael Scullion on several occasions—who proved unmarkable at full forward.
After an incredible game of football, 8C emerged victorious, with captain Charlie McCann and manager Fionntán Boyle proudly lifting the trophy.
A huge well done to the entire year group for showing such skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the competition. With performances like these, they’ll be strong contenders in Ulster as they progress through the school!
