World Book Day 2026
Our Year 8 Readathon and Dress‑Up Day was a huge success, with students bringing their favourite stories to life through an incredible range of costumes. The school was filled with villains plotting mischief, heroes ready to save the day, famous literary pairs, and wonderfully creative characters.
Alongside the fun of dressing up, pupils embraced the spirit of the day by taking part in our Year 8 Readathon, dedicating time to reading and celebrating the power of books and storytelling. It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm for reading across the year group.
A big well done to all our Year 8 pupils for their effort, creativity and brilliant participation. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a memorable celebration of books and reading!
