As part of the Year 10 Personal Development Programme, and our whole-school focus on promoting Anti-Bullying and Inclusion, Equality and Diversity, Year 10 pupils took part in the Cara-Friend “All Out” anti-bullying workshop on Wednesday 1 December 2021. The workshop was delivered by Cara-Friend Education and Training Manager, Jo McParland.

The workshop aims to improve the experiences of LGBTQI+ young people in schools by raising awareness among their peers of what it means to be LGBTQI+ and the issues LGBTQI+ young people face on a day-to-day basis. The workshop also aims to eliminate bullying and stigma faced by LGBTQI+ youth by challenging negative attitudes and derogatory language.

Thank you to Cara-Friend for facilitating this informative workshop.
