St. Mary’s Camogs Ulster Champions

The junior camogs of St. Mary’s journeyed to the ‘The Dub’ in Belfast on Tuesday to play their Corn Liatroim Fontenoys Cup Final against a strong group of girls from Our Lady and St Patrick’s College, Belfast, coming away with a memorable victory.

We are delighted for, and proud of, this wonderful bunch of girls and would also like to say a special thank you to our mentors Mrs McKee, Mrs O’Hagan, Mr Kennedy & Miss McFerran.

School sport is a core part of our offering at St. Mary’s and helps create some of the memories that children will cherish, long into adulthood.  It is hugely expensive to facilitate this level of competition with kit and travel costs being particularly challenging.

We are indebted to all supporters of school sport here in St. Mary’s, and extend our deep gratitude to Mid-Ulster Letting & Sales and MS Joinery Stairs who have supported this team and are highly influential in their successes.

We recognise the fabulous work and quality coaching that goes on in our local clubs and we look forward to working with them for continued success for these girls and future groups of children.

What a team!
