St. Mary's Grammar School

2023 Annual Awards Ceremonies

In Term 1, we were delighted to welcome our GSCE and A Level students to our Annual Awards Ceremonies; where we celebrated the remarkable achievements of two fantastic year groups.  Despite the many challenges that these students experienced, particularly in their post-primary education, they have proven themselves to be adept, flexible, dedicated and optimistic.  Their achievements speak to what can be achieved through hard work, talent and commitment.

Past pupil, Mr Conan Bradley, co-founder of BioLiberty, was guest speaker at the Year 12 event.  He reminded pupils that by following their passions and working harder than everyone else, anything can be achieved.  The guest speaker at the Year 14 event was past pupil and past principal, Mrs Una O’Kane.  Mrs O’Kane spoke of the sense of community that is at the heart of St. Mary’s life and urged pupils to have self-belief in following their goals.  Both guest speakers were inspiring in their message to our students.

Congratulations to each student on their achievements.
