A group of Year 10 pupils from St. Mary’s Grammar School have participated in this year’s French Francofest Competition. The pupils presented a virtual role play presented as “the Eurofest Exhibition”. As a group, pupils had the opportunity to use their creative minds, develop marketing skills and perform in French. Below is an insight into their chosen product:
Product Design and Name : “Le Micro-Onde Magique : Garniture de Croissant” Function: “magically” decorates and coats the pastry of your choice with an array of toppings to create an impressive quick-fix dessert Target Market: Adults and Shops
Although our pupils didn’t win, it was a great experience in using French in the world of work. Due to COVID restrictions, this year’s event took place in a virtual form. NICLT is hoping that next year’s event will take place at Queen’s University, Belfast.
