St. Mary’s is pleased to introduce Cybersyd – a new app which provides pupils with another mechanism by which they can report any concern they may have about bullying relating to themselves or others.

Developed by St. Mary’s past pupil, Aaron Ball, the app is currently being piloted with pupils in Year 9 and Year 10.  It works as a ‘Chatbot’ asking pupils key questions in relation to the situation to help them to determine if bullying, as defined within the Addressing Bullying in Schools Act, is occurring and whether or not they wish to report the matter to the school.
