NI Water’s Pat McCauley recently visited Year 8 and Year 9 assemblies in St. Mary’s to highlight the impact single use plastic water bottles are having on our water environments.

Pat explained how pledging to refill from the tap instead of buying bottled water can help greatly reduce the number of plastics entering our oceans.  To help in our pledge to reduce the number of single use plastic water bottles in school, NI Water has kindly provided a new reusable water bottle for every pupil in St. Marys. By simply refilling from the tap, we can not only save money but clean the seas.
